When a woman is fed up; there is nothing you can do about it but, there are a few things that she might do. She can either stay in her pain and suck it up or take matters into her own hands. In Dedra's case she decided to take the path that would possibly cost her everything she worked for, and even her marriage with her husband Shawn. Stuck in the rut of feeling neglected Dedra took it upon herself to step outside her marriage with someone who was supposed to be a one-time fling. When the matters of the heart arise, karma comes in and swipes everything in her path. Dedra becomes confused on what she should do, stay in her marriage or leave it in the past and start something new with her mystery fling. Shawn on the other hand felt it in his bones that his lovely wife was not acting like her normal self. He didn't have any proof, but he had a notion that his wife was seeing another man. Instead of confronting her, he just waited for the right time for karma to arise. He always told her what was done in the dark would come to light, not realizing his skeletons would be revealed as well.
