Etiquette is a French word that means label, ticket, or card. The word sometimes makes people uncomfortable and self-conscious. The first thing people assume when I mention etiquette is table manners, but there is so much more. Every aspect our lives has guidelines about appropriate behavior in different situations. Understanding the importance of etiquette gives you the "ticket'' you need to be comfortable and able to handle the myriad of situations you encounter. It puts you at ease and everyone around you. Etiquette is learned! No one is born with etiquette genes and this book is written to give you an idea of what to do with the everyday SITUATIONS you will face. You may have better solutions to effectively deal with these SITUATIONS but this book is designed to give you another viewpoint.
