How real is the virtual world? How real are the people within it?April Caulfield never paid much heed to that thought, not until her father's sudden death leaves her in charge of his company, Vi-Real Games, the first videogame company to make full-immersion VR technology a reality. But despite their achievements, the company itself has been struggling financially for some time, and desperate to protect it, April starts making some big decisions that could change the face of the company - and of its games. Within their flagship game, Coppion, is a lone-wolf player called Hoax, known for his temper, and for being the highest levelled player there. And as April finds out, Hoax had been working with her father for years and knows far more than he should about the company. Cautious and wary, April delves further into the game, and her company's secrets, trying to find out exactly what it is that Hoax and her father were hiding. After all, why would her father entrust an entire virtual world to an unidentified gamer?
