Kadedus - The Cardinal Brotherhood Eva Haining

"I am Kadedus... but you know me as ENVY."

Kade's very existence is based on reading people, finding the one thing they want more than anything and exploiting it. He forces humans to the brink of destruction, ruining their relationships with family, friends, and lovers. What he doesn't anticipate is Selma-his brother Luxure's best friend and companion over the past thousand years. When he sees how hopelessly in love she is with Lux, he hatches a plan to take advantage of the innocent Masuulka beauty, enlisting her to help come between the star-crossed lovers.

When Kadedus and Selma worked together to ensure Lux and Sirena's safety, Kade was injured by a celestial dagger. The one blade that can kill an immortal being. As Selma attempts to save his life, they find themselves lost, wounded, and alone in the Nebesky plane. No demon has ever dared set foot on the plane between Earth and the Heavens.

They must fight their way through unknown territory in an attempt to find a way back to Earth, but they're running out of time to find an antidote for Kade. As they struggle against the clock, Selma surprises Kade at every turn-a true warrior with a heart of steel.

"I want to taste every inch of her body. It's a desire so raw, so primal, that I can't be gentle with her. I'm overwhelmed with the need to claim her. To mark her as mine. To ruin her for any man but me."

With word that Lux is alive spreading throughout the realms, Kade must decide where his loyalties lie. Will Kadedus sell his brother out to ensure his own survival, destroying his own happiness in the process? Or will he finally learn to control his primal nature and stand with The Cardinal Brotherhood?
