This book examines the complex issue of China's relationship with Taiwan. It expands the discussion by including seven factors (history, geography, culture, legal, military, political, economic) that influence the decision of whether Taiwan should be a province of China or whether it should be a separate nation. It explains in detail why the simplistic narratives that begin with a potential military invasion of Taiwan by China are not valid or useful.
