open letter is a compilation of my past experiences and feelings as a teenager dealing with relationships, mental health, and self-love. I wrote it by accident in 2017. I had just broken up with an abusive boyfriend and sat down to write a poem, which turned into 1- which turned into 20 and so on. I inserted a few other poems from classes I took. I wrote a few new ones as time went one and after a while, open letter was born.
