This handbook-Lessons Learned From Cash Management & Security Features-is an introduction of various security features of banknotes & documents as researched by the author. This handbook includes three chapters as follows: Chapter I offers a technical summary of key security features and technologies used in banknotes and/or security documents. Chapter II touches on basic currency aspects. Chapter III provides a general overview of the currency/cash supply chain. Throughout this handbook, a few key security features are illustrated as examples to identify relevant security features. Though this handbook is meant to provide an introductory perspective that should be substantiated through further research, the handbook only represents an exploratory effort in this regard; the author does not mean to project any ideas or practice upon readers. In sum, this handbook may be used as a secondary guide, not as a judgment tool, for identifying relevant security features of banknotes, security documents, and more
