Parenting is not for the faint of heart, but you already knew that, right? Let's be honest, we have all had days where we want to throw in the towel and say, "Good luck finding your own shoes y'all, I'm out!" Thankfully, we are not alone in our parenting journey-there is hope! God promises us that he will never let us down, never walk off and just leave us (Heb 13:5-6 MSG)! Whew! Thank goodness, because as the mother of four completely unique children, I need all the help I can get can. I have learned to parent my crazy crew every day by partnering with the presence of God. That's right-God and I work this whole "parenting thing" out together. Yeah, you read this right, I expect the Lord to be in the 'thick of it' with me! So, feel free to laugh along with me as I share my actual flops and failures, and boy are there are some whoppers! Perhaps though, you will feel hopeful in your own parenting, as you read and can relate to some of my sweet moments of connection with my children, as I experiences the depths of God's love and patience along my journey learning how to parent straight from the presence of God!
