Sun Tzu Bing Fa(TM) Masterpiece: The Comprehensive Translationwas translated from the most complete compilation of Sun Tzu The Art of War(TM) published by the research institute for national defense in 1970 in Taiwan.

This book adopted a translating procedure called transliteration where each traditional Chinese character is decoded by pairing with one untoned mandarin pinyin and one semantic English term that helps capture the full meaning of that particular character. This transliteration approach also helps establish a whole new benchmark for translating and understanding Sun Tzu The Art of War(TM).
