About the author:
Born in 2004, Cuban-American Gabriela Hernandez has always had an affinity for writing. Although she is only in her junior year at the School for Advanced Studies in Miami, she has high hopes to continue to write. At only seventeen, she's written about Timothy, inspired by her own cousin Ale, a brave young boy with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
