This book is about my journey in fighting breast cancer. As a Christian, you never think that you will go through something this devastating. But we know, they God rains on the just and the unjust (Matthew 5:45). As a Christian, we do not get to live life pain free, trial free, or calamity free. We have to go through the same things everyone else gets a chance to go through. The only difference in us and the non believer, is that we believe that God is a healer (Exodus 15:26). Before I even knew I had breast cancer, God had already warned me what was going to happen but I was going to live through it. With that promise, it made going through breast cancer treatments a little bit easier. I pray that this journal is able to help anyone going through any type or form of cancer. This is not my book, this is God's book. He told me when to write it and He told me when to end it. I pray that it blesses you tremendously. We have to remember that sometimes we will go through things, devastating things, but we have a God that is able to bring us through (1 Peter 4). The things we go through are not for us, but to help others going through the same things. Just like Job in the Bible, God bragged on Job to Satan because God knew the character and integrity of Job and that Job could take it, (Job 1:6-22). God bragged on me to Satan because God knew that I could take it and would not give up. When trials come, remember that God is bragging on you to the enemy because He knows that you can take it and not give up. God has to give Satan permission to afflict you with anything but Satan has no killing power. Only God has the power to give life and take it away, so when afflicted, rejoice in the Lord always and again I say, again I say. REJOICE!God bless you and your families.
