This is a Fiction Novella. A Christmas Choirs tells the story of Ebenezer Scrooge, an elderly miser who is visited by the Ghost of his former business partner Jacob Marley and the spirits of Christmas past, present and future. After their visits, Scrooge turns into a kinder, gentler person. This is a Christmas Choirs at a time when the British were learning and re-evaluating past Christmas traditions, including Carol, and new customs such as Christmas trees. This Book was influenced by the Christmas stories of other authors, including Washington Irving and Douglas Jerrold. The treatment of the poor and the ability of a selfish person to redeem themselves by becoming a more sympathetic character are key themes of this story. A Christmas Choirs captures the Zeitgeist of the mid-Victorian revival of Christmas celebrations. In the Last lesson of this novella Scrooge wakes up on Christmas morning with a changed man. He makes a large donation to the charity he rejected the previous day, anonymously sends a large turkey to the Crunch Home for Christmas dinner and spends the afternoon with Fred's family. The next day he gives Krech an increment, and Tiny begins to be a father figure to Tim. Since then, Scrooge treats everyone with kindness, generosity and kindness, embodying the Christmas spirit.
