N5 Kanji Made Simple David B Honeycutt

Use this text to study the kanji characters most commonly found on the N5 level of the JLPT. With features such as related vocabulary, example sentences, practice quizzes, usage points, and over 100 kanji characters, you will be more than ready to score well on the kanji portion of the N5 JLPT. Kanji are presented in sets of either 6 or 5 kanji characters. Learners can practice one set a day or go at their own pace until they have mastered every character in a particular set. Each kanji is numbered for better organization (123 total kanji characters presented in this text). Each character is presented in a large, common font along with additional fonts for clarity. Vocabulary common to the N5 exam accompanies every kanji entry. Additionally, each kanji entry includes at least 1 example sentence utilizing one of the sample vocabulary. These sentences use grammar patterns common to the N5 exam. A Try It! section appears after each set for review. After six sets, a red Review page follows for further reinforcement. Answers to each type of review are provided on the following review pages. After each Review page, a Point spread follows and explains difficult or confusing areas about the Japanese language as it relates to the characters learned in the previous sets. This book also includes 18 extra kanji characters that are more commonly seen on the N4 exam--a feature useful for future or extra practice for those aspiring to go above and beyond!
