Why is beauty important? In biology, physical beauty is important because it helps continue a species - the most beautiful of creatures gets attention among the crowd and gets laid. Like peacocks and flowers - the most beautiful ones find mates and pollinate faster. Showing beauty, youth and effort in your appearance signals to the other sex that you are in childbearing years and probably a decent mate. Inward beauty is important because it shows you have good character and you're a good person. Thats very important in this shitty social culture these days. Feeling beautiful gives you confidence. Confidence propels you forward and raises your chances of getting what you're looking for. Then other people put their confidence in you and its up to you for the follow-through. Yes it does help you get you the job or help get you into the right situation for the next step because other people notice you quicker. "You should only look beautiful for people you trust" is a ridiculous statement to me. Do they have ownership over you? Why would you only look beautiful for another person - look beautiful to make yourself feel good. Although it may be easy to see beauty in others, it's often hard to recognize beauty in yourself. While you might not realize it right now, you're beautiful in your own way.
