Gentle does not mean weak and no one knows that better than I do, an empath who has had to operate with the mind of a General. Sensitive by nature and riddled with social anxiety, I learned early that I would need to gain control if I wanted to bring anything I desired into fruition. In realizing that greatness cannot come from holding yourself back, much focus, dedication and shadow work has been required to truly find myself and get back on course. In this exploration of the boxes that we create for ourselves, it is my intention to challenge victimhood and accountability as I share my own testimony. Through choices made socially and professionally, we can learn a lot about ourselves. Introspection will reveal the ways in which we often allow ourselves to become victims to environments meant to encourage fear and dim our light. Be it unwarranted fears or unbalanced emotions; by identifying triggers and how we react to our external circumstances, we may find resilience is much easier to muster. This book will teach you how to take stock of your inner self so that you may champion through this life with cause. The game of life isn't rigged. It's up to you to win. You just have to realize that you are in battle with yourself. It's you versus you and it's time to fight to win.
