After one of our pool tournaments, Piper invited us to her house. Drinking beer around her coffee table, I accidentally knocked over a shoe box of papers and uncovered a gold mine of the most beautiful poems. Piper taught me to never judge anyone, and never trust anyone until they have proven themselves to you. That night around the coffee table, I knew that I had earned Piper's trust, as I would spend the next year going through her writings and creating her book. Piper changed how I see the world and how I treat others. Her Doc Martin footprint has been forever tattooed upon my soul.
