Chastening is the tool God uses to mature children into sons. The rod of His correction for each of His children differs from person to person, but at the end produces the same result. For some it could be a demanding boss, for some it could be a rigorous trainer, and for others it could be some degree of affliction to reorder their steps in the right direction. As good as prophecies are, they can go unfulfilled for generations. This is not because God who gave the Word is no longer efficient or the channel through which the prophecy was received is faulty, but because man is not diligent enough to understand that correction, instruction, and destiny helpers are major factors that determine prophecy fulfilment, all of which revolve around discipleship. You need to learn and be tutored in the way of God, and follow men who through patience obtained fulfilment of prophecies, because until a son learns, he remains like a servant who only sees an inheritance but is never able to step into it. Every carrier of anointing must also realize this truth. Every stage requires a new lesson for a new experience. For the full optimization of the anointing, correction and instruction cannot be ignored. The process of chastening is a learning process. It is a process where you learn some new things, unlearn some old things and relearn what was not properly learned before. The school where this learning takes place is called The School of Correction, and I can bet you that in the school of correction exists The Rod of Correction. The chastening of that rod does not seem to be enjoyable, but painful; nevertheless you will appreciate the fruit of the chastisement afterwards.
