Infertility is, indeed, a very painful struggle. The pain is similar to the grief over losing a loved one, but it is unique because it is a recurring grief.

As they began to put their strategic plan in motion, the Stantons quickly realized that their plan deviated from the path God had set for their lives. After suffering through four years of infertility only to be given a grim prognosis by author's doctor, they reached a defining moment in their faith walk.
