As selfies and social networks continue to grow in popularity and convenience, the day of mailing postcards have ended. I hope this book will serve as a reference reminder of how people from Greenup County's past took pride in the various facets of their lives and wanted to share that pride in the form of images via a postcard, a message and a stamp. This book contains postcard images of Greenup County and surrounding counties in the northeastern part of Kentucky and southern Ohio. Many of the postcards pictured are well over a century old and are very rare.
