Mona looks over at me with mischief in her voice, and quizzes: "Now, what do we look under each evening before we go home, Sherlock?" I smile at the nickname Mona has given me and take my laptop and the contents underneath and skillfully slide it all into my bag. Then I walk over to Mona while she looks at my note for the fourth time! Ms. Beauregard's note reads as follows..."Please be at the gate tomorrow at precisely 3:03 p.m.! To the left of the gate is a speaker box with a black button that you may press. I'll ask that you state your name and then I will let you in."

Mona and I stare at the note as if it is going to give us another clue. Never in my twenty-five years as a realtor have I encountered such a house...such a client! A true lady of mystery. The shadows have followed her for years, never letting her escape, and yet she continues to long for the chance to be free. What bothers me (yes, I am fuming a little), is that I am being dragged into this whole entire circus against my will! Why am I to be there at 3:03 p.m.? Why not three o'clock? Do numbers mean something to her?
