When the pantry door gets broken in the Winkleburg home, Grandpa Miller comes to the rescue to build a new door. What the kids don't know is that Grandpa's doors are always magical. They always open to a new and magical world. With their mother's permission, the five Winkleburg children venture into the magical world their grandfather's door has created. Upon entering the world, the door disappears and the children seem trapped. There's nothing they can do, but venture forth and try to find another way out. Can they find their way out before supper time?

There's no time to cry or worry. The only way is forward.
