Wally Raccoon's Farmyard Olympics Team Sports
Leela Hope
Sometimes we are just too little to join the big kids. Wally has friends who invite him to watch the Olympic games, but Wally doesn't want to be a spectator.
The perspective of a child in a big guy's world is illustrated with towering athletic barnyard animals like Sal the Collie, and Uncle Moe the horse, who have little time for Wally, a little raccoon. But compassion is not far away when Danny the Deer brings Wally to his feet.
Share these colorful illustrations with your child and feel what it's like to view the world from a little boy in a grown-up world. We all want to grow up, to feel included, and join the game. Watch how this story unfolds with kindness and a rhythmical poem.
