Love and Diplomacy is the story of Lars, who lives a privileged life as a diplomat with a promising career in the Foreign Service, he is married, and has two children. Lars's life changes overnight when he meets Carole, who is the partner of the American ambassador to Zambia. The book gives a realistic account of Danish development aid from within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Copenhagen and the Danish Embassy in Lusaka.
