As the first publication in a series of three volumes, this book lays the foundation for discussions about regenerative building and architecture based on an ongoing research project at the Aarhus School of architecture. This is followed by descriptions of themes within regenerative architecture with numerous built examples. The publication concludes with an introduction to methods for assessing and quantifying regenerative aspects and environmental consequences.
