We are social beings and what comes natural to us is love. I feel blessed to mention that I had boundless love in my life pouring from all the directions. This pure love which I experienced in various relationships made me cultivate and nurture beautiful traits. Love is fulfilling and gives a sense of direction and beautiful reason to stay alive and happy. It makes you more disciplined, adjusting, caring, loving, affectionate, humble and selfless in many ways.
We shall remember one most important aspect i.e. we cannot expect to get same amount of love that we give in any relationship. It may be disappointing during several occasions, but we shall not cease loving and caring. I have experienced one thing i.e. once we love someone, they may or may not register it, acknowledge it or realize its significance, but they do understand its importance, sooner or later. It is beautifully said that you may have hundreds of reasons to walk out of a relationship, but even one reason may be enough to hold on to it. Why not it be "selfless love"?
My relationship with my husband had a topsy-turvy curve and we had several differences between us. I attempted a lot to make our marriage work, but it did not go well as we used to have during our first year of marriage. But we are together as loving friends for our selfless love for our daughter. I am surrounded by wonderful people- family, friends, colleagues, environment, animal kingdom whose unconditional love and care make my life most incredible, lively and cheerful.
