The research consists of providing a business intelligence solution, in a financial institution, whose purpose of the implementation of the solution is to contribute in the process of making appropriate decisions, for the improvement in the analysis of the Management of the Expenditure. For this solution, several business intelligence development methodologies were reviewed, both traditional and mixed and current trends; obtaining a proposal with the following phases: Analysis of information requirements, Business Model, Analysis, Design, Construction and Implementation.
