The monograph presents an analysis of theoretical approaches to the regulation of immigration and the practices of formation and implementation of immigration policies of Australia, Great Britain and Canada. The author analyzes the consequences of the implementation of opposing management vectors within the framework of the Anglo-Saxon model of immigration policy, identifies the factors influencing the evolution of the institution of immigration policy of developed countries, identifies the causes of such changes, characterizes the actors and main directions of immigration policy. Current trends in immigration policy are examined in connection with the problems of exercising immigration control, integrating migrants, and ensuring the societal security of receiving countries. The monograph is addressed to political scientists, sociologists, executive and legislative officials, and all those interested in the problems of state immigration policy.
