Work is something fundamental in the life of people and those who have it for their fortune allow them to achieve a certain lifestyle. Individuals in the workforce can find economic support at work, but at the same time a source of motivation or demotivation, satisfaction or dissatisfaction and happiness or unhappiness at work. Unemployment, on the other hand, generates feelings of failure, loss of aspirations and failed projects, even causing individuals to lose pleasure in life. The book presents the reader with field research carried out virtually by collaborators of the foundation with some people who, in the current situation of the pandemic, are waiting to know if they will keep or lose their jobs, making an analysis of the fear of unemployment, and happiness vs. unhappiness at work. Some typologies are also presented that refer to the previous aspect and, finally, some conclusions are presented that can be of some use to the companies, to take measures to preserve the human capital that is determinant to increase the productivity and the enterprise development.
