As the interest for broadband administrations keeps on developing around the world, customary arrangements, like advanced link and fiber optics, are frequently troublesome and costly to execute. The arising WiMAX framework fulfills the developing requirement for high information rate applications, for example, VoIP, video conferencing, intuitive gaming. WiMAX arrangements serve private and undertaking clients as well as be sent as a backhaul for Wi-Fi areas of interest or 3G cell towers. This book focus on Downlink Point to Multipoint IEEE 802.16e Mobile WiMAX network considered with slowly time varying multipath Rayleigh fading channel. ACTIVE-SET Convex Optimization technique and Genetic Algorithm proposed to allot resources amongst subscribers for various networks for Bitmap and video data. Various performance parameters like Bit Error Rate (BER), Throughput of the network, Per User Throughput, Number of Satisfied users on the network, Euclidean Distance, PSNR, Channel Capacity and Quality of Video considered for Proposed Algorithms. Major part of the book also contain Simulated results of various scheduling algorithms especially with Convex optimization techniques.
