Although India has achieved self sufficiency in food grain, it has to achieve the higher growth rate. It is therefore the focus has more been shifted from agricultural to the horticultural production. Fruit cultivation in India is one such major commercial and business sectors for exporting. Mango is the most important fruit of India. India exports mango and mango based products to more than 80 countries, so it is an important foreign exchange earner. The concept of Good Agricultural Practices may serve as a reference tool for deciding, at each step in the production process, on practices and/or outcomes that are environmentally sustainable and socially acceptable. Mango, Grapes and Pomegranates have big contribution in our state export market. In recent period from foreign country for export quality mango has increased. For exporting the quality mangoes, there is need to concentrate on export quality control measures. This book consist the information about mango growers, GLOBAL GAP Certification, Problems of growers etc. which is based upon my Ph. D. thesis. I hope, this book will be useful for new researchers, mango growers, educationalist, extension workers to cater their needs.
