The Janowski-Indian (1 d4 Nf6 2 c4 d6 3 Nc3 Bf5) has enjoyed the patronage of such strong chess players as Mikhail Tal, Jan Timman, Bent Larsen, Larry Christiansen, John Fedorowicz and Kamran Shirazi.
