Comic books are an important part of entertainment in today's world, but not everyone can draw as good as a comic book. This book introduces a method of creating comic book images from digital photographs using digital image processing methods such as filtering, blending and edge detection. Nowadays, there are many commercial software which will enable generating the same effect. This work will allow the user to investigate the theoretical background and image processing fundamentals introduced in a step-by-step manner.
