In many practical problems in conduction of heat, the surface temperature or flux has a prescribed periodic value, this case is of practical importance in the cooling load calculations of buildings. In this book, expressions for the transient temperature distribution in a wall with specified boundary conditions and initial condition are derived. The walls under consideration is subjected to periodic change of temperature of the environment in contact with wall outside surface and heat flow into a medium of constant temperature at the inside wall surface.
