Environment is a global concept today. Some consider it-as the sum total of all the factors that affect an organism. The qualitative development and quantitative progress of mankind depends on the quality of the environment. The term ?Environment? refers to the surrounding or conditions influencing development or growth of people .animals and plants, living or working conditions. It also refers to sum total of conditions which surround man at a given point in space and time. Environment awareness and ethics refers to the knowledge , morality and understanding of facts and concepts related with pollution ,population explosion ,deforestation ,energy-crisis and land-use ecological disruption . Environment ethics means having detailed information ,responsibility ,morality and knowledge about environment and problems associated with it . Environment ethics is a process which helps social groups and individuals to acquire an awareness and sensitive to the total environment and its allied problems .
