Creativity is regarded the greatest asset of mankind, it is an ability that is most vital for shaping the future of man. The interest in creativity and in its research is traced as from the second half of the present century when Americans realized that Russians were overtaking them in many areas especially in space research. The credit for opening the present era of research in creativity goes to Guilford who in his 1950 presidential address to the American Psychological Association pointed out the need for starting systematic and well planned studies on creativity especially with regard to the identification and development of creativity. The Present work can help the Researchers in India to concentrate upon this Greatest asset of mankind.
