The Gawwada are a small ethnic group in Ethiopia who inhabit the Omo region west of Lake Chamo River and North East of the Konso, and speak a language of the Cushitic family known as Gawwada and...are surrounded by Omotic and Cushitic speaking groups. Their area consists of undulating hills, deciduous forests on mountains and lies at about 1,600-1,700 meters above sea level approximately between 5° 25'N latitude, 37° 14'E longitude. To them, the main economic and socially relevant activities are farming and cattle keeping. Life develops around the social and cultural values related to these two activities. They are very sociable, kind,...peoples.
