Does ownership matter? This book titled ?Privatization and Financial Performance: An Indian Experience? tries to answer this question by analysing performance of Indian Public Sector Units, privatized (disinvested) by Government of India. Study found that average performance is improved but performance improvement is only relative, not statistically significant.
