The purpose of this dissertation is to survey the ICT centres for implementation of E-governance. As CICs are the only ICT infrastructures in our J&K state, I therefore first studied the concept of E governance followed by Information Communication Centres and Community information Centres. For survey purpose I selected Udhampur district of J&K state where I selected all CIC centres for survey. The CIC centres are located in all seven blocks in the district. So in all survey of seven ICT centres has been done. From all centres one hundred and twenty beneficiaries are selected and information is gathered from them. Results are analyzed using the software SPSS. And finally the conclusions and recommendations of the study are given.
