3-dimensional Miniplates: in Mandibular Feactures Rajnish K

The aim of maxillofacial trauma treatment is the restoration of anatomic form and function with particular care to re-establish the occlusion in cases of traumatitic injuries. Treatment modalities range from intermaxillary fixation (IMF) to rigid internal fixation of the bone fragments. Various types of plating systems have been introduced for fixing fractures and continuity defects of the mandible. Present work discusses the 3-D plates instead of two conventional miniplates. This book is of great interest to students, general practioners, oral and maxillofacial surgeons dealing with maxillofacial trauma treatment and thus provides them with sound knowledge to treat their patient efficiently, with greater success rate and minimal complications.
