Cascade control system, wherein the control loops are closed via real-time networks, is called networked cascade control system (NCCS for short). At present,the NCCS has found a large number of applications in practical industrial process, however, an intact theoretical system for the analysis and synthesis of it hasn't been developed yet. The book mainly deals with the issues of modeling, stability and performance analysis, and controller design of NCCS. The designing and implementation of an NCCS pilot plant is also introduced.
