Selecting an efficient tunnelling system is one of the main objectives of any tunnel construction team to minimize tunnelling problems. The tunnelling system consists of a set of harmonized construction methods that are used for executing different tunnelling activities. This book introduces a computer based model, which is considered as an efficient and easy tool used in the preliminary stage of the project, for selecting efficient tunnelling systems based on technical and non-technical conditions of the project.
