Solid and liquid waste management has registered a phenomenal growth during last four decades and has a vital role in solving the bewildering problem of pollution- a problem which has to be solved in the near future; otherwise, the civilization is bound to record a great disaster in the history of mankind has ever recorded. The current trends in solid and liquid waste management encompasses "reuse, regeneration, recovery and recycling"- a plausible solution for the never ending problems of an industrialized society.
