Improving productivity of knowledge worker is one of the major challenges to all of us. An effort has been made here to identify various tools & techniques those can improve the productivity of knowledge workers. Studies have been conducted to find out the perspectives of knowledge workers on usefulness of these tools & techniques, use of these tools & techniques in the Labs, encouragement given by the Labs for acquiring skill in these, trainings given by the Labs for these and relative importance given by the scientist for each of these tools & techniques. Scientists have indicated that most of these tools & techniques can improve their productivity and these tools & techniques are presently used in the Labs and scientists are encouraged to acquire skill in these but majority of them are presently not trained in these tools & techniques. The book will be very much useful to managers, HRD professionals, researchers, management thinkers, management students and to all who want to improve the productivity of knowledge workers.
