The research work made on controlled release formulation of anti diabetic drugs for effective therapy in recent years considerable attention has been focused on the development of new drug delivery systems such as controlled release formulations. The systems were aimed at controlling the rate of drug delivery at a desired rate and reproducible manner. The formulations made in the research work were stable and showed invivo better therapeutic effective for treatment of diabetic patients
