A Critical Examination of a Childr Graf

The popular children's book Hello, Little Pig, written by the famous author Janosch, has been on the market for 24 years. Both parents and children love reading it, and most of them consider it to be good. Why else should a children's book publisher issue a new edition? Only now, a critical analysis of this work appears. The author, Helena Graf, has made it her business to question the unreflected use of such works and to explore the impact of images on the experiential world of children and thus on their mental development. Another critical examination, this time of the world of media (advertising posters, products of the pornographic industry) then leads the author to the conclusion that boys and girls are even in far greater danger of uncritically consuming its products.
