Principles of Ayurveda have significant value even in the life of modern man. The reason behind this is, life is the underlying theme over which the whole science of Ayurveda is interwoven. Hence one cannot deny the implicability of these principles. The principles of Ayurveda are based on strict experimental studies of several years. These principles are the outcome of those studies. Several Acaryas have tested these principles for many years and then these principles have got a place in Ayurvedic Samhitas. But nowadays one is prone to do all those things, which are harmful to his/her constitution, thereby increasing the incidence of his/her susceptibility to diseases. In such disease conditions physicians have to use these principles for preventive and curative purpose.
