Spectrophotometric Determination of Metals Using Schiff Base Felix Sunday

This novel work on the spectrophotometric determination of metal ion using a schiff base is priceless and indispensable for analytical, inorganic and environmental chemists. The work x-rayed the key aspect of spectrophotometry and discussed the chemometrics of complexation of metals with Schiff bases. The use of jobs method and equilibrium method of determining metal ligand mole ratio was appraised. Other parameters involving solvent extraction of metal chelates such as distribution ratio,percentage extraction,equilibration time,volume of solvent and temperature were critically appraised. The method was used for the analysis of environmental samples. The work is recommended for all categories of chemistry students and teachers.
