Model of Solid Waste Management in Urbanizing Areas Rajan Dhungel

The model has been developed to manage the solid waste of urbanizing area at local level. This study follows all basic principles. Waste Collection Route has been optimized and the project was found financially feasible. The study can be applicable to other similar areas in the world as this case study in Katunje, Bhaktapur( Nepal). Primary and Secondary data were collected for the study. The majority of the waste was found as organic matters. Classification of wastes, perception of public to waste, willingness to pay against pollution also have been studied in this book.
