The present book analyzing the factors influencing the situation of women in poverty and applying the results of gender studies assumes that the hierarchical relationship between genders is a consequence of the specific operation and norm-system of the society. The reader finds answers to how females live their poverty, what gender-based differences and drawbacks they have to face, and how they assess their situation if compared to that of men?s.
