The book titled Development of Predictive Model for Particulate Dispersion from Cement Mill Stack is one of a kind and has not been presented for any other qualification anywhere. Information from other sources (published or unpublished) has been duly acknowledged. The research was necessitated as a result of high pollution rate emanating from cement plant in Nigeria and my love for the poorer residents of my country. As the saying goes ?We love this earth as the new born baby loves his mother?s heart beat? hence there is the need to preserve the land, air and rivers especially around dust polluted stations, for ourselves, our children and our children?s children. Therefore it is morally justifiable to ensure that the health and well being of the communities around this dust polluted stations are not threatened by these activities of industrial emissions. Nigeria has a quite number of cement plants and can boost of having the largest cement producing plant (Obajana Cement Plc) in Africa and third largest in the world. Nigeria been a developing nation is tasked with high demand of this product used in the construction of buildings, roads, bridges etc.
